Students to explore the creative activities of Paper Mache & Fashion Jewellery as part of their school education.

Course Objective

The objective of paper mache crafts is to enable students to appreciate the history and evaluation of the craft. The handbook focuses on the history of paper mache, available in different states of India, and tools and materials used in making paper mache.

On the other hand, the objective of Fashion Jewelry is to enable students to understand briefly the historical background and tradition of jewellery in India.

Course Features

Instructor
The student will be able to make crafts that are environmentally friendly such as (recyclable products). The student will be able to use the basic tools and equipment required for making multiple crafts.

  • This Unit focuses on:
    1. The process of making paper pulp (Sakhta)
    2. The process of making rice glue (Atiz)
    3. Understanding appropriate measures needed in drying and readying the Sakhta
  • This Unit focuses on:
    1. Preparing a hanging ball with pulp
    2. Creating a cylindrical pen holder using pulp
    3. Sculpting a 3D Turtle using pulp
